He was active from 1727 to 1742. He was known as a small scale worker, particularly in the production of miniature silver. The spittoon has been approved with the Amsterdam city mark and the VS master mark. A spittoon is another name for a spitting pot, intended to spit out saliva and mucus released when chewing tobacco.
